Paper: Interactive Art & Consciousness: Reframing the Mind-Body Debate

Our mind and body are not two self-determining entities, but involve continuous interaction and transformation. In ‘Interactive Art & Consciousness: Reframing the Mind-Body Debate‘  I negotiate the relationships between interactive art and consciousness to demonstrate what science can learn from art in terms of the mind-body debate. The paper expresses a set of issues that delineate the epistemological and cultural significance of interactive art in reframing the mind-bodydebate. The goal is to establish a multidisciplinary arena wherein the conceptual boundaries between science, art and philosophy are dissolved.
