On this page you’ll find some projects I’ve been working on. Most of these were/are experimental and not funded. I also did a few projects for the Digital Art Lab & Kinderen Tegen Kinderen.
The Blended Data Game
Description: The Blended Data Game is an educational game our team has developed for the course ‘Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence’ at the Hogeschool of Amsterdam. This collect-game uses the virtual world ‘Active Worlds’ to teach the students the structure of a data warehouse. By playing the game the students will understand the importance of creating a clear and efficient database. More information on this project can be found at:

The iSuit
Description: We’ve developed an imaginairy product called the ‘iSuit’. The iSuit uses the kinetic energy produced by the user to control computer systems and programs. It also has a bioforce-feedback mechanism built into the fabric (the suit is made out of carbon-filled rubber, which makes the suit light, flexible and washable), this enables the user to feel the computer’s response to his/her actions. The following film will show you how an artist (a made-up German artist called ‘Hannah Bregler’) criticises this highly commercialised product by rewiring the feedback system.
